As it has already been made clear, every adult needs a will. If you still don't know why you need a will, check out our "Articles" section and read more about why you need the protection of a will.
You used to only have two options when it comes to getting a will:
You could get a form from a place like LegalZoom.com. This will cost you anywhere from $69 to $99. If that is all you need, the link above will take you there and you can get a will form. But they won't give you support. if you are unsure about something, they won't help - they can't. Legally, places that sell you forms are forbidden from giving legal advice because they are just form sellers, and not lawyers.
On the other hand, you could walk into a law firm, sit down with an attorney, and they will draft you a will. It will cost you anywhere from $499 up to $1500, and will likely take a few weeks. Most attorneys have really high overhead costs, so they have to take on a wide variety of cases and clients to keep up, so your simple, one-time will is not their highest priority.
But now, you can have the benefits of both of the options above, without the high costs and without the risk!
I can create your will within two to three business days for only $129. How can I do this when a normal law firm would charge triple that amount or more? Its simple.
1. I don't have the overhead of most law firms, and 2. by doing this online, neither you or I waste our time.
Law firms, even the small ones, have massive overhead costs. For just a single attorney, most firms also have a secretary, multiple office machines, a file room and a library, and expensive rent. You don't need that to get a good will. What you need is a good lawyer, with lots of experience that keeps up with the latest developments in estate planning law.
I went to law school so I could help people. I wanted to help people plan for their future, so that they can focus on their children and their lives, rather than worry about money or what is going to happen when they die. However, I never wanted to have the burden of massive overhead. When lawyers open a practice, they usually get a nice office, and all that goes with it. But then they have to expand their practice to pay for all of that. I never wanted to take on criminals as clients so that I could afford a mahogany desk in a historic building with a staff of secretaries and paralegals. I don't need that kind of overhead, and that translates into a good quality product at a low price. I like drafting documents and helping people plan for their future. Simply put, I do wills and estate plans. Why should you have to pay for my office furniture? You shouldn't.
"But that small talk isn't free. The client is paying for every second of that conversation at $200 per hour or more! "
And why should you have to go all the way across town to your lawyer's office to get a will? This is not 1970 anymore. You don't need to come to an office and sit in the furniture - which you would be paying for, by the way - just to make small talk before you get down to the real reason for coming - which is another way I can save you money.
You see, when an attorney meets a client, they make small talk. They try to develop a relationship so the client is comfortable and wants to come back for repeat business. But that small talk isn't free. The client is paying for every second of that conversation at $200 per hour or more!
By simply filling out a form online, I save you from having to go to an office and pay to make small talk. Its simply not necessary. Its not that I don't want to talk to you or get to know you, but lets be frank. If an estate planning attorney does his job right, you will never need his services again! I can craft a custom quality will that will serve the needs of your family and has the flexibility for when it changes.
If you need a will, which you do - everyone does - I can create a custom will for you, for a low price. Simply click the link below, and after you fill out the questionairre, I will go to work and get you your custom document within a few days.
Don't leave your family unprotected. A will gives you peace of mind that your family will get what you intend to give them, and that your goals will be met. If you don't have a will, your family gets what the government decides they should get!
